Sweeping on the Regular
The first thing that you should look into is sweeping. You’re going to need to have a soft brush broom. DO not get a strong broom, you need something soft, and do not use any sort of water. There are some people that will recommend wet solutions. However, you have to be very careful with this. You cannot soak this type of flooring. The fibers can be porous, even at a small level, and the water could seep into the ground and cause issues. If you’re going to use vinegar solutions, or even store bought wet options, drying has to be done immediately. Do not wait too long.
There are going to be scuffs, and other issues on your flooring. For laminate flooring, use a pencil eraser to get little issues away. Grease, bubble gum, and other options can be lightly scraped off with plastic utensils to lightly lift elements that are stuck onto the floor’s walking paths.
Your local hardware store can also have some cleaning elements that you can utilize. Just be careful, proactive, and focus on cleaning appropriately. When in doubt, use a dry, cloth to dust often enough. That’s the biggest issue you’ll face over time, dust settling.
