Given the location, this balcony would bear the brunt of Singapore’s tropical weather – especially the heat! To avoid “hot dancing” on the deck, the unit’s owners chose Eco Wood Composite Decking.
This wood plastic composite decking choice uses, as its name suggests, eco-friendly wood and has a unique and patented composition of 2/3 wood flour and 1/3 polyethylene. What this means is that it has less plastic than conventional composite boards, making the heat under bare feet equivalent to that of solid wood and more comfortable to walk on.
